Our Lab
The Moore Research group is currently in 2 main laboratory spaces all in the Herbert Wertheim Laboratory for Engineering Excellence (HWLEE) on the campus of the University of Florida. The main lab is located on the 5h floor of HWLEE. The cell culture lab is located in room 568.
We are transitioning to Clark Hall in the Fischell Department of Bioengineering at the University of Maryland!
MAIN LAB
5TH FLOOR, HWLEE
The main lab contains instrumentation for polymer synthesis, hydrogel conjugation, analytical balances, a centrifuge, vortexers, rockers, hotplate stirrers. The chemicals, acids, bases, are all also stored in the main lab on shelves and under fume hoods. There is also a cryogenic storage dewar, water purification system, lyophilizer, autoclave, a refrigerator and two freezers (-20 and -80). Space 564 houses the Cytek Northern Lights flow cytometer which is managed directly by the Moore Lab.
